The World Premiere of  

Pokegama Hotel

Co-Directed by Leslie Eliashuk & Gail Sparlin

An original musical written and composed by local educator and singer/songwriter Gail Sparlin. This project is funded in part by the New York State Council of the Arts through the Arts Center of the Capital Region.

Set in a small town municipal tavern in northern Minnesota, "Pokegama Hotel" is an afternoon with the hotel's bartender, Fay, and the many characters that frequent the bar. Be it a kind word or a daily dose of friendly banter, they find it at the Pokegama Hotel. 


September 19-21 and 26-28, 2014
Fri and Sat at 8 p.m.; Sun at 2 p.m.

Performances are in the Quest Theater (826 State Street, Schenectady). 
Seating is cabaret seating and on first come-first serve basis. 
There will be no intermission. 
Desserts and beverages will be available during mocktail hour.
Pre-show entertainment will be provided by local musicians starting at 7:15PM.

Tickets are $15 General Admission/$13 for Students with ID's and Senior Citizens.  There will be a pay-what-you-will preview on Thursday, September 18, 2014.
