Confetti Stage is celebrating our 10th Annual Short Play Festival...

Confetti Fest X

For 10 years, Confetti Stage has celebrated the talents of Capital Region
playwrights, directors, actors, and technical artists by selecting original
works to produce and perform.  Several plays premiered at past Confetti
Fests have since gone on to win awards at both state and regional theater
festivals.  To celebrate the opening production of our tenth season, we
will be holding an Opening Night Reception following our performance on
Friday, October 3rd.  We will also be holding a free ticket giveaway at
every performance!

This year, Confetti Fest X opens our 10th season with 5 plays that explore
the vast and varied landscape of the human heart:

 How do you treat a roomful of people who are addicted to anonymity?

Fifth Step, Fourth Wall
by Stephen Henel
directed by Nate Beynon.
A young writer’s world crumbles around her when the line between reality
and fantasy begins to blur.

Luc

When an American man and a French woman are brought together by tragedy,
their shared loss overcomes all language barriers.

Paladina
by Stephen Henel
directed by Hollie L. Miller.
The world’s toughest superhero may have met her match in the sexism of TV
news.

Reunion
by Marty Egan
directed by Barbara Davis-Dickman.
When two former lovers meet for the first time in decades, will they
reignite an old flame, or has that spark been forever snuffed out by an old
insult?
