Hudson River Shakespeare Company presents “The Weir” at Little Theater on
the Farm, 27 Plum Road, Fort Edward on September 26th, 27th, 28th : Friday,
8 pm, Saturday 2 & 8 pm, Sunday 2 p.m.  In the play four men and a woman
meet at a pub in Ireland where they crack jokes, drink too much and tell
one another tales. Some of the stories have a supernatural bent, a few are
anchored in reality, and all are delivered as the night wind howls and a
chill pervades the room.   For reservations call (518) 747-4418 Tickets
$10, seniors and students $8
To quote a member of the company,"Come to the beautiful Little Theater for
a great little play set in a rural Irish pub. Grab a pint of stout and your
favorite cuddle buddy: the barn can get a wee bit chilly at night. Some
discretion advised: the language is what you'd expect from a bunch of
feckin Oirish loolahs.
