Stockade Soiree to benefit Schenectady Civic Players Elevator and Stockade’s Riverside Park Playground



The Stockade Soiree, billed as “the 2015 social event of the season” and benefitting Schenectady Civic Players’ new elevator project and playground enhancements at The Stockade’s Riverside Park, will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 pm, Sunday, September 20, at The Stockade Inn, 1 No. Church St., in downtown Schenectady’s historic Stockade district.

Billed as “A Night from the Big Band Era,” for one night only the entire elegant Stockade Inn will be transformed into a classic Hotel Ballroom of the past where the greatest Big Bands performed for the young at heart. During the evening elegantly dressed attendees will dance, dine and romance to the eighteen-piece orchestra of the area’s popular Joey Thomas Big Band.

Evening attire please, black tie and 30’s to 40’s attire optional. $75 admission per person includes delicious cuisine provided by The Stockade Inn. To make reservations, a contribution, or for more information call 518-334-3687.
