Back by popular demand is Town Players of Pittsfield's holiday variety show "Christmastime in the City 2". The show, directed by Monica Bliss with musical accompanist, Jeff Hunt, will be presented on Friday and Saturday, December 11 and 12 at 8pm and on Sunday, December 13 at 2pm at the Whitney Center for the Arts, 42 Wendell Avenue in Pittsfield.

This year's show includes music, theater, dance, stand-up comedy, spoken word, and poetry, all with a holiday twist. There will be soloists, instrumentalists, chorale, a folk group and singer-songwriters. Broadway, opera, pop and country will all be represented. With cabaret seating, holiday snacks and beverages will be available at concessions and can be enjoyed during the show. 

The star-studded cast includes : Alanna Bassett, Marcella Bradway, Diedre Bollinger, Bob Bottume, Ann-Marie Desautelle, Joe Gerard. Penelope Hicks, Bev Krol, Erin Laundry, Thomas Attila Lewis, Colleen Marion, Steve Mole, Jeanne Roy, Nancy Schaffer, Joseph Sicotte, Jenn Smith, Stan Spencer, Rob Weisberger, and Kevin Paul Wixsom.


Tickets are $15; $12 for seniors, students and groups of 10+; and $10 for members of Town Players. Tickets may be reserved online at www.townplayers.org or by calling the Town Players' Box Office: 413-443-9279. Don't wait too long to reserve your tickets since the show sold out last year.
