*Theater Voices *will present its first staged reading production of
the 2015-2016
Season:

*Outside Mullingar* by John Patrick Stanley

Directed by Yvonne Perry.
                    A heart rendering, amusing, and poetically passionate
tale about how it’s never too late to take a chance on love. Anthony and
Rosemary, two introverted neighbors, yearn for one another. The walls of
shyness and a long-standing feud between their families are the obstacles
each face as they strive towards a deeper connection.
                   Performances will be held at Steamer No. 10 Theatre, 500
Western Avenue, Albany on *Friday October 16 at 8:00 pm; Saturday October
17 at 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm: and Sunday October 18 at 3:00 pm*. The house
opens a half an hour before curtain. Admission is free.

Yvonne Perry, well known to theatre audiences in the Capital District, will
direct this staged reading.

Included in the cast are Patrick Quinn, Pat Reilly, David Girard and
Kathleen Carey.



 John Patrick Shanley’s play was the recipient of the 2014 Tony Nomination
for Best Play. The New York Times called *OUTSIDE MULLINGAR* “Mr. Shanley’s
finest work since *DOUBT*… A softhearted comedy freckled with dark
reflections on the unsatisfactory nature of life and the thorns of love.”
