[Capdist-announce] Jump Jive and Jazz

The RPI swing and Lindy club is holding a fun free event this weekend! See

I'm excited to announce that this semester's Jump Jive and Jazz will be
held this Saturday on Parent's Weekend! The evening will consist of
performances by two of RPI's jazz bands, the Concert Jazz Orchestra and the
8th Street Swng Band. In addition, RPI's Lindy Hop group will be providing
a free swing dancing lesson from 7:30-8:00pm, and then the music will
begin! There will be plenty of us dancing to the live music, but there will
also be plenty of people just watching and enjoying the show so you will
fit in no matter what! Beginner dancers are welcome and encouraged! Most
importantly, this entire event is FREE. So grab your parents, grab your
friends, and grab your arch nemesis and be ready to swing and enjoy some
live jazz!
