NACRE ANNOUNCES FINALISTS FOR 2nd ANNUAL GUEST CHOREOGRAPHER COMPETITION
Audience to vote for winner at November Performance

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Schenectady, NY - Nacre Dance Company is pleased to announce the finalists for their 2nd Annual "So You Think You Can Choreograph?" performance. In the annual worldwide search for their 2016 guest choreographer, artistic director Beth Fecteau has chosen 7 finalists who will present a piece at their "So You Think You Can Choreograph?" show held this year at the GE Theater at Proctors on Friday, November 6th at 7:30pm. The finalists will each present a seven minute piece and the audience will vote for their favorite.

This year's finalists are:

Jamie Benson, Brooklyn, NY
Caitlin Dutton, Astoria, NY
Kristen Klein, Brooklyn, NY
Kailey McCrudden, Verplank, NY
Katie Rose McLaughlin, New York, NY
Erin Carlisle Norton, Montclair, NJ
Caterina Rago, Astoria, NY

A wine and cheese reception will immediately follow the performance where votes will be tallied and the winners will be announced. The winners will be named as 2016 guest choreographers and will set a piece on Nacre dancers for the company's March show.  Tickets for the show are only $20.00.

Nacre Dance is about to embark on it's most ambitious season to date, with a special collaborative performance with Chuck Lamb and Ria Curley, as well as special performances at the Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga.
