“THE WAITING ROOM” PLAYS SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 1
at SCHENECTADY CIVIC PLAYHOUSE

SCHENECTADY – Lisa Loomer’s “The Waiting Room”, directed by Barbara Davis-Dickman, will be presented as a free staged reading Sunday, November 1, at 2:30 pm at the Schenectady Civic Playhouse, 12 So. Church Street, in Schenectady’s historic Stockade district. One performance only, it is part of a series celebrating Schenectady Civic Players’ 88th season. 

Lisa Loomer, a playwright and screenwriter who has also worked as an actress and stand-up comic, is best known for her play The Waiting Room, in which three women from different time periods meet in a modern doctor's waiting room – a dark comedy about the timeless quest for beauty -- and its cost -- a wild ride through medical and sexual politics, 

In the cast of Schenectady Civic and Capital Area players are: George Filleau, Gary Hoffman, Bryan Jackson, Amy Sarah LaMena, Rita Machin, Ryan Palmer, Michael Schaeffer, Tricia Stuto, Brian Toal, and Katrina Wilkinson.
