Saratoga Children's Theatre Performs Little Shop of Horrors

 

The Saratoga Children's Theatre announces live performances of Little Shop
of Horrors at the JKB (Janet Kinghorn Bernhard) Theater, Skidmore College,
Saratoga Springs, NY, on Friday August 19thand Saturday August 20th at 1pm
and 7pm. Local teens, ranging in age from 13-18 will be starring in the
musical which has been directed by Chris Stefani, along with music director
Dan Lyng. Book and Lyrics by Howard Ashman, with Music by Alan Menken. All
tickets are sold at the door. General admission: $10;  Kids 10 and under:
FREE. Refreshments will be available. 

The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of
plant he names "Audrey II" - after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed,
R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out
Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour
discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global
