Opening at the Whitney Center for the Arts, 42 Wendell Avenue, on June 17 for two weekends is "Win/Lose/Draw", by Ara Watson and Mary Gallagher, This fully staged production is being directed by Melanie Rivers.

"Win/Lose/Draw, an Off-Broadway hit in the 1980’s, consists of three one-acts which range in mood from high comedy to near tragedy. The plays are unified by a common theme; each contrasts women from different social and intellectual levels in situations where they react with attitudes characteristic of their backgrounds. "Win/Lose/Draw" takes us on a journey from a child beauty pageant in Fresno, then to a welfare office in Tulsa, and finally to a seedy motel in an industrial Massachusetts town. The plays, though each distinctive in their own right, combine into a funny and poignant theater experience.

The cast includes Diedre Bollinger, Jackie DeGiorgis, Dana Grieb, and Mae Rogers. 

Performances are at 8pm on June 17,18, 24 and 25 and at 2pm on June 19. Tickets are $15, $12 for seniors, students and groups of 10 or more and $10 for members of Town Players. Tickets may be purchased by calling the Box Office 413-443-9279.
