                *FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE*

*Boeing, Boeing** takes off at the Ghent Playhouse March 18*

The Ghent Playhouse announces the upcoming spring production of
the French farce, *Boeing, Boeing*, written by French playwright Marc
Camoletti and translated by Beverley Cross and Francis Evans. The play
will open on Friday, March 18, 2016 and run through Sunday, April 3, 2016
with performances Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at
2 p.m. *Please note there will be no performance on Easter Sunday, March
27. *

Set in the swinging ‘60’s, *Boeing, Boeing* is a fast-paced
comedy about an American architect living in Paris and engaged to three
gorgeous international airline hostesses, none of whom knows about the
others. With help from his faithful maid, Berthe and his trusty airline
timetables, Bernard is able to juggle each of the women’s layovers with a
cool ease. But his perfect love life is about to hit some turbulence when an
old college friend comes to visit and the new and speedier Boeing jet
complicates his perfect planning. Suddenly, all of the women find
themselves in Paris at the same time bringing chaos to the situation.

Mark Carway of Albany, appears again on the Ghent stage, this
time as the lothario, Bernard. Ghent Playhouse favorites, Sally McCarthy
of Austerlitz and Mark Wilson of Kinderhook have been cast respectively as
Bernard’s maid, Berthe and Bernard’s friend, Robert. Meaghan Rogers of
Pittsfield, MA assumes the role of Bernard’s American fiancée Gloria, and
Christina Reeves of Slingerlands is Bernard’s German fiancée,
Gretchen. Rounding
out the cast as Bernard’s fiery Italian fiancée Gabriella, is newcomer,
Olga Bogdanova of Clifton Park, making her Ghent Playhouse debut. The set
was designed by Cathy Lee-Visscher and Sam Reilly, costume design by Joanne
Maurer and lighting design by Isabelle Filkins.
