Be there on opening night as a hypochondriac takes the stage at the Ghent
Playhouse Friday, May 20th!

The Ghent Playhouse presents its final production of the season,
Moliere’s “*The
Imaginary Invalid *(The Hypochondriac).  This is a new adaptation written
and directed by Barbara Leavell Smith.  The play will open on Friday, May
20, 2016 and run through Sunday, June 5, 2016 with performances Fridays and
Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m.



The Assistant Director for this production is Denola Perreten and the Stage
Manager is Arielle Lant, It is produced by Kelly Mackerer, Set Design is by
Sam Reilly, Lighting Designer is Isabelle Filkins, Costume Designer is
Joanne Maurer and the Music Composer and Pianist is Catherine Schane-Lydon.



This is the classic tale of the ultimate hypochondriac.  When an imaginary
invalid, endlessly flooded by doctors and pharmacy bills, thinks he has
found the cure for all his aches and pains, the results bring both chaos
and hilarity.
