[Capdist-announce] Taken In

[Michael Kennedy]

Creative Action Unlimited presents Taken In, a play about local sex
trafficking of minors, written and directed by Michael Kennedy.

Performances will be held on Friday and Saturday, November 18 and 19 at
7:30 pm in the lecture hall at the Independent Living Center, 15 Third St.
Troy 12180 (right next to Spillin' the Beans).

This documentary theater script is based on news stories and interviews
with local individuals whose lives have been impacted by this social issue.
The cast includes Rachel Jenack, Frederick Jones, Patty O'Toole, Susan
Preiss, Isaac Scranton, and Katrina Wilkinson.

Tickets are $12 general admission and $10 for students/seniors and are
available by calling the box office at 518-763-3975.

This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program,
a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the
support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the NYS Legislature and administered
by the Arts Center of the Capital Region.
