Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead
Sunday, October 30, at Schenectady Civic Playhouse

“DOG SEES GOD: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead,” by Bert V. Royal, and directed by Mike Silvia, will be presented as a free staged reading Sunday, October 30, at 2:30 p.m. at the Schenectady Civic Playhouse, 12 So. Church Street, in Schenectady’s historic Stockade district. One performance only, it is part of a series celebrating Schenectady Civic Players’ 89th season.

“Dog Sees God”, a parody of the Peanuts comic strip and TV specials, explores the dark, complex teenage years of the ‘Peanuts’ Gang. It sees the eclectic gang of rascals trudging through its high school years, embodying a tone and language that audiences are entirely unaccustomed to seeing them in. "Dog Sees God is as lovable as Snoopy" -- The Toronto Star.

Civic Players and Capital area actors featured in this Dog Sees God production are David DiPaola, Destiny Coons, Evan Jones, Brian McBride Land, Jennifer Lefsyk, Sierra Lynch, John Mac Schnurr, Cait Webber.

The play contains adult language and mature themes and is not suggested for young audiences. Free admission. Open seating. No advance reservations. www.civicplayers.org 382-2081.
