A Kind Shot THANK YOU WOODSTOCK! It takes a village and some sweetness. Carly, Wonderful Euphoria yoga instructor. It was a pleasure and privilege to share A Kind Shot in Woodstock last weekend at Mountain View Studios! Got caught up with West 28th Gym, Euphoria Yoga, Sunflower, Timbuktu, Bread Alone, Houst, Woodstock Apothecary, the post office, Sun Frost, Catskill Art Supply, Garden Cafe, The Lodge, local gyms for some pick up games....the list goes on and on, what a wonderful community. And thank all of you, so very much, for coming to the shows, spreading the word, stepping into my world for a bit. Be good to each other. Love t Vegan Sugar Cookies One time I made 5 different kinds of vegan/macrobiotic holiday cookies for my family (largely meat eaters) and put them in the area where all the deserts were kept. GONE IN 2 HOURS! Enjoy! 2 cups unbleached white pastry flour 1/3 cups Corn Oil 1/8 cup Soymilk 1/2 tsp. orange extract Pinch salt 1/2 cup rice syrup 1/2 tsp vanilla PARCHMENT PAPER REMEMBER TO GET THIS!!! Organic food coloring if ya want. 1) Sift flour into large bowl & add the salt 2) Mix the rest of the stuff 3) Add wet to dry & mix until the dough forms. Pre-heat oven 375 4) Roll out to 1/4 inch and get out your cookie cutters and go for it! 5) Put on cookie sheet LINED WITH PARCHMENT PAPER bake 8 to 10 minutes 6) Cool and decorate!
