With his roots in the folk troubadour tradition, Warrenhas produced a surprisingly diverse body of song. From musicals to rock andeverything in between, his music shares his unmistakable humor, wit and heart. The songs address a wide range of topics: one, a portrait of the Battenkill, another, an adrenaline rush of a song about his former noisy neighbors, yetanother written for the AARP crowd. The peace movement, born-again philosophy andthe aftermath of the school shooting in Newtown, CT have all influenced his songwriting. Then, there are catchy, soulful tunes that just feel like a summer's day at thebeach.

“Small Town World” is the second installment inthe Greenwich Free Library’s three-part, free series celebrating music as anessential conduit of stories passed from generation to generation.
