*The Ghent Playhouse Honors Joanne Maurer with an evening of Hot Jazz &
Cool Blues performed by The Joe Adee Band, Saturday, April 8, 2017 *



The Ghent Playhouse,  the 42 year old community theater in downtown Ghent,  is
holding a benefit to celebrate their “Costumer Extraordinaire”, Joanne
Maurer, who has been designing, sewing, repairing and laundering costumes
for many, many years.  Proceeds from the benefit will help finance the
installation of air conditioning in the theater.



In addition to a lavish dessert bar, libations of various types, and a
silent auction,  Hot Jazz and Cool Blues performed by *The Joe Adee Band*  will
have you dancing in the aisles!  Doors open at 7pm, festivities start at
7:30pm - open seating.



Tickets are $50.00 each payable by check mailed to the Ghent Playhouse,
P.O. Box 64, Ghent, NY  12075 or by credit card through the website
ghentplayhouse.org.  Be sure to reserve your place early as space is
limited.
