            *Theater Voices *will present its third staged reading
production of the 2016-2017 Season: *100 Saints You Should Know* by Kate
Fodor, directed by Michael Kennedy.

            Performances will be held at Steamer No. 10 Theatre, 500
Western Avenue, Albany on Friday April 7 at 8:00 pm; Saturday April 8 at
3:00 pm and 8:00 pm: and Sunday April 9 at 3:00 pm. Admission is free.



            Theresa is estranged from her family and is working as a
cleaning woman when she is surprised by the unexpected desire to learn how
to pray. Matthew, the priest whose rectory she cleans, is heartbroken by
the realization that he no longer knows how to talk to God. When Matthew
disappears one day, Theresa feels compelled to track him down at the home
of his mother. Her search changes both of their lives.


*            100 Saints You Should Know *premiered Off-Broadway in 2007 at
Playwrights Horizons and was named one of the best plays of the year by *Time
Out New York*, *Entertainment Weekly* and *Theater Yearbook.* Kate Fodor is
an American playwright and television writer whose plays have been produced
by Playwrights Horizons, and numerous other companies. In addition to *100
Saints You Should Know, *her plays include *Hannah and Martin,* and most
recently *Rx*, which had its debut Off Broadway at the Primary Stages in
2012.



            Michael Kennedy will direct this production. Included in the
cast are Maureen Baillargeon Aumand, Ben Katagiri, Colleen Lovett, Abbi Roy
and Kieran Teator.

Interviews with the director and cast members are easily arranged.

            Theater Voices is a group of dedicated actors and directors
who, throughout the company’s history, have presented both new and classic
works with the specific goal of emphasizing the richness of the
playwrights’ language. Each production is a fully performed staged reading,
with minimal scenery and simple costumes.
