CRARYVILLE, NY --The Two Of Us Productions, the award winning theater
company based in Columbia County NY, is pleased to present RUMORS, by Neil
Simon.  Only 1 weekend left to see this sparkling production, May 26th,
27th, & 28th, 2017 at the Performing Arts Center at Taconic Hills.  

Darryl Gangloff (Millerton News & Lakeville Journal) says "This Farce Is
Sure To Make You Laugh", and "the fast-paced script is full of clever lines
. Luckily, the performers of this local production have great comedic
timing".  Marion Hunter (The Columbia Paper) says " (this) Strong cast
wrings hearty laughs" from Neil Simon's RUMORS, and, "The cast is fantastic
. It's basically a sitcom and we're the live studio audience".  

The setting is a tastefully decorated house in a swanky NYC suburb. The
Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself! Thankfully it's only a flesh
wound.  However, while the guests are gathering downstairs for their tenth
wedding anniversary party the Deputy Mayor lies bleeding in the other room
and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken and wife Chris must get
"the story" straight before the other six guests arrive. As the confusion
and mis-communications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical
hilarity punctuated by the arrival of the NYC police.   

Performances of RUMORS continue for only 1 more weekend - May 26th, 27th &
28th, 2017.  Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30pm and Sunday
matinees are at 3pm.  The well-equipped Performing Arts Center at Taconic
