[Capdist-announce] Denizen Theatre Presents "The Arsonists"

The Denizen Theatre presents the regional premiere of “The Arsonists” by 
Jacqueline Goldfinger, directed by Ben Williamson.

“When starting over means setting fire to what you know and love. The 
Arsonists is a lyrical Gothic tale inspired by Electra in which a father 
and daughter – poets, musicians, singers, storytellers – on the run from 
the law, must learn to let go. A provocative journey from grief to 
redemption that delves into the primordial bond between parent and child.”

This is the final production of The Denizen’s inaugural season, and this 
Equity company has garnered rave reviews for its previous offerings. The 
company specializes in new works presented with excellent production 
values and a professional cast, and the selected plays are always 
thought-provoking and richly textured.

“The Arsonists” runs from February 1 to 24, with performances at 7 PM 
Wednesdays to Saturdays and 2 PM Sundays. There also will be a single 
Saturday matinee Feb. 2 at 2 PM. A visit to the Denizen includes an art 
show in the theater’s lobby that ties in with an aspect of the play. On 
dislplay now is “Mixed Messages,” by 14 artists, each using a guitar as 
canvas.
