Suspense Theater - two new radio dramas with The Two Of Us Productions! 


 

COPAKE, NY --The Two Of Us Productions, the award winning theater company
based in Columbia County NY, is pleased to present two exciting radio dramas
from Suspense Theater for their next Virtual Live-Staged Reading.  This
performance of Dark Tower and The Furnished Room, the third in RARE Inc's
Winter Series of 5 dramatic evenings of live theater, is being presented on
Saturday evening March 6th, 2021 at 7:00pm in collaboration with Friends Of
The Copake Grange  

In Dark Tower we meet the charismatic actor Damon Wellington.  Damon is
working on a new feature film entitled "Dark Tower" with fellow actors
Jessica Vance & Ben Weston.  They are all concerned about Jessica's recent
breakdown after the murder of her husband Stanley Vance 2 years previously.
It seems that Jessica is fully recovered but when her husband mysteriously
returns from the dead the shock to Jessica may deal a fatal blow to her
sanity!  

In The Furnished Room we learn about the very nice upstairs room being
offered by a certain Mrs. Hawkins.  This room has been empty for quite
while, in fact ever since it had been occupied by a very nice couple, Mrs. &
Mrs. Jennings.  Sadly, Mrs. Jennings passed away,  a heartbroken Mr.
Jennings then sold all their furniture & moved away.  Mrs. Hawkins is
thrilled to tell us that Mr. Jennings has returned to re-rent the room and
has taken great pains to repurchase every stick of his married furniture!

The Two Of Us Productions is well known throughout the Hudson Valley for
presenting quality theater, both musicals and dramas.  Their recent
productions of Sweeney Todd, Young Frankenstein, Deathtrap, Chicago, Les
Miserables, next to normal, Mamma Mia! and Jesus Christ Superstar were all
recognized by the Theatre Association of NYS with multiple awards, including
outstanding work by the company & outstanding performance by the orchestra.
Reviews of their recent virtual live-staged readings of three Arthur Miller
scripts; All My Sons, Broken Glass, and an adaption of An Enemy Of The
