After a fantastic first weekend, we're ready to go again!

Confetti Stage is excited to announce the eighteenth iteration of the
Capital District's longest running festival of locally written one act
plays, Confetti Fest XVIII!
This year's festival features...
"Custody" by Anthony Pezzula and Prudence Theriault
Directed by Vincent Lounello
A recently divorced couple meet to deal with a custody issue. During the
course of the meeting, old grievances and feelings arise threatening a
satisfactory agreement.
"Very Mundane Government Meeting" by Matt Reichel
Directed by Laura Darling
The discovery of a massive oil reserve in a backwater banana republic sends
two bureaucrats scrambling to replace their aging dictator and take power
for themselves.
"Musical Chairs" by Dan Smirlock
Directed by Tony Pallone, assisted by Dmitriy Kogan
A widow and widower meet at a restaurant for a pseudonymous blind date.
Both are lonely, and both are hoping to establish a connection, though
they’re not sure they want it to be with each other. As they exchange their
opinions and share their experiences of love and marriage, they find
themselves questioning their own views on these subjects.
“Echo” by Laura Darling
Directed by Kathryn Capalbo, assisted by Marissa Lounello
Two college students follow a mysterious map to an old cave where they
accidentally discover a crack through space and time. An ancient guardian
affords two young women a chance at changing their past to erase a
traumatic event.
Confetti Fest XVIII runs October 7-9 and 13-16 at the Albany Masonic
Temple, 67 Corning Place, Albany, NY 12207. Performances are at 7:30 on
Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with 2:00 PM Sunday matinees.
Tickets are $15 for general admission, $10 for students, and $8 per person
for groups of 8 or more. Tickets may be purchased online at
