Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic!

For seven years a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs… who just happened to be there too. A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world.

This enchanting and comical 2015 play written by New York playwright Matt Cox is for anyone who has ever felt like they weren’t the hero of their own story. “Puffs,” for and about the underdog, follows three friends through their adolescent years in a magic school that proves to be quite dangerous for children. Alongside them are the Puffs, a group of well-meaning, loyal outsiders.

Directed by Tony Pallone

You've probably heard of “Typhoid Mary,” who was believed to have infected dozens of people with typhoid fever. Here's your chance to meet the cook behind the name, a feisty, vulgar, yet deeply religious Irish immigrant named Mary Mallon. This quirky, anachronistic telling of the discovery of Mary's disease and her subsequent forced quarantine unfolds amid changing notions of medicine, morality and cleanliness — along with the inevitable parallels to our modern experience confronting diseases that defy the limits of our knowledge.
