The Copake Quintet plays at Claverack Library

The Two Of Us Productions, the award winning theater company based in Copake
NY, is pleased to present, in collaboration with the Claverack Library, The
Copake Quintet  in a live performance at the Claverack Library on Saturday
night August 24th.  You don't want to miss these in-demand area musicians as
they present great music from the American Songbook, Latin & Bossa Nova
tunes, plus classic rock to the Claverack Library.

The Copake Quintet is a group of experienced musicians from around the
Hudson Valley.  Based right here in Copake, Columbia County NY, these
musicians celebrate the classic format of drum, piano, bass & melody to
share with their audiences the pleasure of live acoustic music in a relaxed
& friendly setting. 

The Copake Quintet features tunes from the American Songbook, Latin and
bossa nova tunes, as well as classic rock.  The group's musicians include
Steve Turowski on drums, Debbie Contini on keyboard, Rick McCurdy on bass,
Dan Ramirez on guitar, Steve Sanborn on woodwinds, Nik Vanderhoofen on
trombone, and the vocal style of Connie Lopez.  They are all in-demand
musicians from around the Hudson Valley, drawing together into a small group
setting that you're sure to enjoy.

The Two Of Us Productions is well known throughout the Hudson Valley for
presenting quality theater, both musicals and dramas.  Their productions of
Cabaret, Blithe Spirit, The Lady And The Clarinet, Sweeney Todd, A Shayna
Maidel, Chicago, Les Miserables, next to normal, Deathtrap, and Jesus Christ
Superstar were all recognized by the Theatre Association of NYS with
multiple awards, including outstanding work by the company, outstanding
performance by the orchestra, excellence in direction, and many individual
actor awards.   

These performances are supported with funds from Hudson River Bank & Trust
Foundation, Stewart's Shops, Bank of Greene County, Rheinstrom Hill
Community Foundation, Greylock Federal Credit Union, Key Bank Foundation and
The Ackerman Fund.  This project is made possible with funds from the
Statewide Community Regrants Program, a program of the New York State
Council on the Arts (NYSCA) with the support of Governor Kathy Hochul and
the New York State Legislature and administered in Columbia County by the
