*The story:* As a typographer, a geographer and a stenographer strive to
explain their work, we come to discover the difference between our jobs and
who we are. With humor and heart, this play explores how work weaves its
way into the fabric of our lives. It’s a quirky, honest look at how we
define ourselves and tell our stories.

*The cast & crew:* ”The Typographer's Dream" is directed by Cameron
Richardson, who is making his debut with Theater Voices. A soon-to-be
graduate of Russell Sage College with a B.A. in Theater, his previous work
includes acting and stage managing with Will Kempe’s Players during their
past three seasons. He also worked with the NYS Defenders Institute’s Trial
Skills Program and with HRC Showcase Theatre in "How We Survived." At
Russell Sage, he’s performed a myriad of roles, including, most recently,
Gene in "Rhinoceros," Uncle Henrick in "Number the Stars the Musical," and
stage manager for "She Kills Monsters." He originally directed "The
Typographer’s Dream" for his Senior Project at Sage, and he looks forward
to remounting it on the Theater Voices stage. The cast features Madison
Gaiser, Michael Sinkora and Elizabeth Broderick. Stage management by Jack
Ellis.

*Theater Voices is a not-for-profit organization under IRS 501(c)(3).* We
are a company of dedicated theater professionals presenting both new and
classic works with the specific goal of emphasizing the richness of the
playwright's language. The company's productions are presented as fully
staged, script-in-hand readings with minimal use of scenery and costumes.
The simplicity of this format has allowed the company to bring professional
theater to Capital Region audiences free of charge for over three decades.
