As a typographer, a geographer and astenographer strive to explain their work, we come to discover the difference between our jobs and who we are. With humor and heart, this play explores how work weaves its way into the fabric of our lives. It’s a quirky, honest look at how we define ourselves and tell our stories.

Cameron Richardson (Director) is making his debut with Theater Voices. A soon-to-be graduate of Russell Sage College with a BA in Theater, his previous work includes acting and stage managing with Will Kempe’s Players during their past three seasons. He also worked with the NYS Defenders Institute’s Trial Skills Program and with HRC Showcase Theatre in How We Survived. At Russell Sage, he’s performed a myriad of roles, including, most recently, Gene in Rhinoceros, Uncle Henrick in Number the Stars the Musical, and stage manager for She Kills Monsters. He originally directed The Typographer’s Dream for his Senior Project at Sage, and he looks forward to remounting it on the Theater Voices stage.
