Auditions for Moon Over Buffalo, directed by Joseph Fava, will be held
Tuesday, March 1, and Thursday, March 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Playhouse.
Registration for auditions begins each night at 7:00 p.m.
An acting couple, "not exactly the Lunts," are on tour in Buffalo in 1953
with a repertory of Cyrano de Bergerac and Noel Coward's Private Lives. Fate
gives them one more shot at Hollywood fame as Frank Capra is en route
to catch their matinee performance, looking for stars for The Scarlet
Pimpernel.
Hilarious misunderstandings pile on madcap misadventures, as the plot
intertwines three plays. Will Capra see Cyrano, Private Lives, or a disturbing
mixture of the two? This backstage farce brought Carol Burnett back to
Broadway.
