[Capdist-auditions] Auditons for Schenectady JCC's "The Immigrant"

The Schenectady Jewish Community Center is announcing auditions for "The Immigrant", a true story about two Eastern European Jews who immigrated to a small Texas town in 1909. Inspired by his grandmother's photo album, Mark Harelik tells the story of two out of the thousands of Jewish immigrants who ended up in the American Southwest through an immigrant resettlement program. The show will be presented in Readers Theater format.
Auditions will be Monday and Tuesday, January 24 and 25 at 7PM. The performance dates are Satruday, March 19th at 8PM and Sunday, March 20 at 2PM. Location for auditions and performances are the Jewish Community Center located at 2565 Balltown Road, Niskayuna
Parts available: Haskell Harelik - starts at age 19. A Russian Jew
                       Leah Harelik - his wife. Three years younger than he.
                       Milton Perry - owner of the Perry National Bank of Hamilton, Texas.
                           A rock-solid, unyielding man in his late 40's.
                       Ima Perry - His wife. Two years his junior.
