Here Ye! Here Ye! Calling All  Performers for  
The Great Escape’s Storied  Shows as Park Prepares for  
2005  Season 

LAKE GEORGE, N.Y., March 16, 2005 - Singers, dancers, actors and an  array of 
performers are invited to try out for The Great Escape’s signature  shows on 
Saturday, March 19 or Sunday, March 20, as the park holds casting calls  at 
the Bavarian  Palace. 
Saturday’s tryouts will take place between 2 p.m. and  6 p.m. and Sunday’s 
will run from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.    
The tryouts are a sure sign that opening day,  Saturday, May 14, is not far 
off as The Great Escape readies to celebrate  another outstanding season. 
Performers are needed for the following: Sassy Sally, Keepin’ It Country and 
other shows.    
Comedians can test their humor at the audition for the  Sassy Sally show.  
This show features a sassy bird  that tells jokes, and will debut May 14 through 
September  25. 
The  dancing extravaganza, Keepin’ It  Country, features an array of country 
music hits from yesterday and  today.  The dates of the show are May 14 
through September  25. 
Actors need to bring a 2-minute monologue.   Singers should prepare one up 
tempo and one ballad (approximately 16 bars each).  Professional backtracks will
