[Capdist-auditions] Set Designer Needed

 Albany Civic Theater seeks an experienced Set Designer and Costume Designer for thier upcoming fall production of "Sherlock Holmes and the West End Horror".  The play is set in and around London's West End during the height of the works of Oscar Wilde and Gilbert and Sullivan.  When a renowned theater critic is murdered, fellow critic George Bernard Shaw enlists the help of detective Sherlock Holmes and the omnipresent Watson to find the killer.  Suspects include some of the most important theater and literary luminaries of the day. 8-9 actors will portray 34 different characters in this humurous and suspenseful tale. Costumes should be standard of the year 1895, London.   The set will be extremely representational as several locations are visited from the flat at 221b to the streets of Piccadilly Circus.  A very creative eye is required to create just the right feel for this production. Interested parties should respond with a brief resume of previous works.  This is an 
excellent opportunity for a student to get valuable experience.
