[Capdist-auditions] Wanted: Musical Director for Portraits of Christmas

WANTED:  Musical Director

The production staff for the original play, Portraits of Christmas, is looking for a Musical Director. The play celebrates the cultural diversity of Christmas through drama and music. Set in four vignettes, each scene showcases the music and Christmas traditions from a different country – France, Mexico, Russia, and the United States.  The play is being produced with support from the Family Players of Northeastern New York and directed by Jeremy Pickreign.

Responsibilities Include:
        1.  Assist with audition process
        2.  Teach and rehearse musical numbers to cast
        3.  Provide piano accompaniment during rehearsals
        4.  Direct music during peformances

This is a paid position.

Performance dates are December 1st through 3rd.
Auditions will be scheduled for the middle to end of September
