HMT is pleased to announce open auditions for two remaining male roles for
their October production of URINETOWN, THE MUSICAL. The auditions will be
held on Tuesday, June 20 at 7pm at The Arts Center Theater, 320 Broadway
Saratoga Springs. Actors should use the Broadway entrance to the theater.
URINETOWN is a hilarious tale of greed, corruption, love and revolution in a
time when water is worth its weight in gold. Set in a Gotham-like city,
malevolent corporations profit by controlling one of humanities basic needs-
the use of toilets! That is until one man leads the masses to freedom in
this irreverently humorous satire in which no one is safe from scrutiny.

The first role available is Caldwell B. Cladwell (late 40s-60s, baritone)
who is the CEO of Urine Good Company and the most powerful man in town. He
is slick, elegant, clever, eccentric, mercenary to a fault and deliciously
evil, he will rid himself of anyone who stands in his way. The second role
available is that of Tiny Tom (Late teens-30). He is a poor boy who always
references lack of height. He also doubles as Dr. Billeaux (pronounced
"below") Head of Research for Urine Good Company.

Actors are asked to prepare a song from musical theater that shows off their
vocal range and comedic ability. We are looking for actors that can really
sing/belt, move well and have comedic ability. Scripts are available prior
to the audition at the Saratoga Public Library Reference Desk. No
appointment necessary. Please bring a current photo and resume. Photos
cannot be returned. For further information, please call HMT at
518-587-4427.
