C-R Productions at the Cohoes Music Hall is currently interviewing for the
follwing positions.
All positions begin in August.


TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Seeking TD to engineer, construct, install and strike of all scenic
elements for productions. Work with Production Manager to ensure that all
shows are completed on schedule and on budget. Supervise Scene Shop staff
and prepare all necessary working drawings. Communicate with other
production departments, designers, stage managers, and other guest artists
to ensure the safe and effective implementation of all scenic elements.
Work with Production Manager to schedule and supervise scenery running
crews for all shows. Season runs from September to May. Position will
start in August. Requirements for this position include: Mastery of wood
and metal scenic construction and fabrication techniques, scenic
engineering and rigging. Advanced CAD skills are a plus. Candidate should
have a minimum of 1 - 2 years professional experience in Technical
Direction or equivalent. Excellent personal, organizational and
communication skills. Proven ability to motivate, manage and coordinate
staff members of varying skill levels. Well-established skills in handling
budgets and scheduling. Housing, competitive salary and benefits are

MASTER CARPENTER
Candidates must have a basic understanding of stage mechanics, welding and
electrical work, strong carpentry skills as well as good project
management, communication, and record-keeping skills. Candidates should be
self-motivated, innovative, and enjoy working in a creative environment.
Candidates should possess the ability to work with a wide variety of
people and be able to adapt to an ever changing environment. Should also
be available to possibly work the night and weekend theatre schedule. Full
time position.


ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER/PROPS MASTER
The ASM/Props Master is responsible for all props for each production,
supervising all rehearsals, serves as the primary liaison between
Production Manager and theatre staff, oversees stage, performers and crew
during the run of a show.


SPOTLIGHT OPERATORS/STAGE CREW
Two spot light operators needed for each production. Sixteen performances
of each production (Thurs. – Sun.), plus tech week rehearsals required. A
perfect job for high school seniors and college students. Previous
experience not required. Will train.


BOX OFFICE MANAGER & ASSISTANT BOX OFFICE MANAGER
Full time positions available immediately. Responsibilities: Manage all
aspects of a growing tickets sales operation, generate year-round
communication with subscribers and single ticket buyers; create and manage
relationships with external ticket venues, concierges, box offices; manage
mailing lists, coordinate with House Manager; update phone messages.
Assistant Box Office manager will work closely with the Box Office Manager
on a daily basis. Qualifications: Proven track record with ticketing
software, e-mail marketing, excel and word, and supervising a staff. The
perfect candidates must have a passion for fast-paced dynamic work; have
excellent verbal and written skills. Must be able to work evenings and
possible weekends.

COSTUME DESIGNERS
Seeking designers to design, oversee build, and assist with build of all
productions. Excellent personal, organizational and communication skills a
must. Proven ability to motivate, manage and coordinate staff members of
varying skill levels. Competitive salary housing included.


CUTTER/DRAPER
Full time position. All aspects of patterning, cutting and draping; strong
skills needed for fast, accurate work. Work closely with designers on six
productions. Full time or part time position.
