The new
Fort Salem Theater is casting an original production of A Christmas
Carol.? The owner, Jay Kerr, is a fantastic songwriter / voice teacher
/ show biz guy from New York.? He's worked with bunches of people and
his songs are fantastic.? Learn more about him at www.jaykerr.com.
 
   
Having produced a cabaret only season this summer - continuing through fall (gorgeous, beautiful sounding new room), he will debut his rennovated theater with A Christmas Carol.?
Jay and his wife Lynn have provided a wonderful working experience for
all who've been involved with them upstate.? They have taste and vision.
   
?
   
Sought for this production:? experienced performers who want to create roles
and be part of a project that's going somewhere.? What you won't get is
pay this time.??(Jay aspires to?paying.)?Travel stipend is available.?
Rehearsals will begin in November.? Schedules will be accommodated to
the degree reasonable.? (New Yorkers - come home for the holidays and
do a show!)?

Already cast;? Scrooge, Belle (Equity) and Martha Cratchit.? All other roles to be cast.? Fezziwig, Fred, Bob and Mrs. Cratchit, Cratchit kids including Tiny Tim, young Scrooge, Fan, great ghosts
and?colorful featured characters.? The show tells the classic story
with a bit of sass and pop culture reference.???Most cast will double
into multiple parts.
