Group seeks scripts for New Play Festival
    JOHNSTOWN ---- Believing that new plays are the lifeblood of theatre,
Theatre Workshop invites area playwrights to submit original scripts for
staged readings to be performed in November at Colonial Little Theatre.
    Plays of any reasonable length will be considered, according to the
producers.
    The readings will be performed by amateur actors over the weekend of
Nov. 14-16.
    The deadline for submissions is June 2.
    Theatre Workshop, the CLT playwrights group, is in its third season of
presenting new works to area audiences. All proceeds derived from the
festival will benefit Colonial Little Theatre's capital campaign.
