AUDITIONS

for its APRIL & MAY production of


ROMEO AND JULIET

Auditions are scheduled for

Monday, January 26
&
Tuesday , January 27

Registration begins at 6:45pm
Auditions begin at 7:00pm both nights

The Women?s Building, 79 Central Avenue, Albany, NY


Please bring a 1 ? 2 minute Monologue (it may be from Romeo & Juliet).  
  Memorization
recommended but not required.
Those auditioning will be asked to read popular selections from the script.

Roles are available for over 20 performers ages 12 and up.

Synopsis:
Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet are teenagers who fall deeply in  
love but their
families are bitter enemies. They seize the moment and marry in  
secret, they make every
effort to conceal their actions but these end in tragedy when Romeo,  
Juliet, Tybalt,
Mercutio and Paris all die. The themes running through the play  
address the issues of the
consequences of immature blind passion, hatred and prejudice.


Romeo and Juliet is recommended for ages 12 and up and is part of the  
Confetti Stage
Family Series.

Rehearsals begin March 1, 2008
Performances scheduled for April 23, 24, 25, 26, 30, & May 1, 2, & 3
