The Ghent Playhouse is looking to expand its pool of experienced  directors.  
 
We are a community-based, non-Equity theatre located in Ghent, NY.   Our 
actors and audiences are drawn primarily from Columbia County, the Albany  area, 
the Berkshires and northern Dutchess County.  We produce five shows  each 
season in a mix of comedies, dramas and musicals.  We are also  interested in 
exploring readings, one acts and children’s theatre.
 
Our ‘main stage’ productions play for 9 performances over a three week-end  
period.  Rehearsals are between 6 and 10 weeks, depending on the demands of  a 
particular show. 
 
This is not a solicitation for original or unproduced scripts.
