Curtain Call Theatre will be holding auditions for its TWO upcoming shows:

AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS (Regional Premiere)



And



LEADING LADIES (Regional Premiere)



On Monday, February 11, 2008 at Curtain Call Theater at 7:00pm. The theater
is located at 210 Old Louden Road in Latham.



*AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS *is the thrilling tale of Phileas Fogg's race
around the world. Mark Brown's adaptation of this Jules Verne classic is *"an
antic and hilarious stage tour de force."* With thirty-nine characters
portrayed by five actors, this *"high-spirited, fast-moving and flat-out
hilarious"* show will delight adults and children alike. 4 Men, 1 Woman
various ages.

 *LEADING LADIES* is the latest farce from Ken Ludwig, author of such well
known comedies as "Lend Me A Tenor" and "Moon Over Buffalo".  *This
hilarious comedy *about two English Shakespearean actors, Jack and Leo, who
find themselves so down on their luck that they are performing "Scenes from
Shakespeare" on the Moose Lodge circuit in the Amish country of
Pennsylvania.  When they hear that an old lady in York, PA is about to die
and leave her fortune to her two long lost English nephews, they resolve to
pass themselves off as her beloved relatives and get the cash.  The trouble
is, when they get to York, they find out that the relatives aren't nephews,
but nieces.  Romantic entanglements abound, especially when Leo falls
head-over-petticoat in love with the old lady's vivacious niece, Meg. Need 5
Men ranging from 20's to 50's and 3 women - 20's, 30 and able to play 70's.
