CALL FOR SHORT FILMS FOR JUNE 2008 FOOD AND FILM FEST

Simple Rules for this Competition
This is a call for short films featuring food, from growth to
consumption. Filmmakers may wish to focus on diverse topics, such as
farming, fishing, viniculture, industrial or artisanal food production,
marketing, food economics, food preparation, nutrition, health, or the
culinary arts. The film genre and style is also broad: narrative,
documentary, demonstration, satire, animation,
expose,' restaurant review, and comedy.

The films and videos should be no longer than 10 minutes. All films and
videos should be submitted in DVD format. Be sure to write filmmaker's
name, email address, and title of film on the DVD cover. 

THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE.
The deadline for this competition is Wed., May 28, 2008. Entries should
arrive by close of business of that day. Films selected will be
premiered on Saturday, June 28, 2008, at the Arts Center of the Capital
Region, Troy, N.Y., as part of the Film and Food Festival jointly hosted
by the Troy Food Coop and Troy Cinema and Visual Arts Group, Inc.
