[Capdist-auditions] DIRECTORS FOR 5th ANNUAL SHORT PLAY FESTIVAL

Confetti Stage is looking for those Capital Region Artists who are  
interested in directing an original short play in the 5th Annual Short  
Play Festival.

Potential directors are asked to submit a brief statement explaining  
their theatrical experience and their interest in directing to  
SPF5 at confettistage.com no later than Friday, April 24th.  Directors  
for this year's festival will be announced on Friday, May 8.

Directors will make up part of the play selection committee for this  
year's festival and will have the opportunity to consult with the  
playwright and work with Confetti Stage's Artistic Director before and  
during the rehearsal process.

If you have ever or have ever considered directing a play then this is  
the perfect opportunity for you.  Be part of an original work of art  
that is in itself part of an entire festival of original performing  
art.  Let your creativy thrive and watch as something new takes life.

The 5th Annual Short Play Festival will be held in late September  
2009.  Rehearsals will begin in mid August 2009.
