[Footlighters Of Calvary UMC]

Footlighters will be holding open auditions for the roles listed below for our fall production of On Golden Pond.  Auditions will be on Monday, Aug. 31st at 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday, September 1st  at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at: 
  
 Calvary United Methodist Church 
  15 Ridge Place 
  Latham , NY 
 (Fellowship Hall-back entrance, lower parking lot). 
  
Readings will be provided.  
  
Rehearsals are scheduled to begin September 8th.    Performance dates are November 7th, 8th, 14th and 15th.

Roles being auditioned for (ages are the character ages – willing to read people outside of those ages that can play up or down):  
  
Norman Thayer (65-75):  cantankerous and witty, a retired professor showing some early signs of senility 
  
Ethel Thayer (60-70):  the energetic, friendly and loving wife 
  
Chelsea (35-45):  Norman and Ethel’s daughter, athletic, but nervous and unsure of herself when with Norman .  She has his sense of humor, which is dry 
  
Charlie (35-45):  the friendly mailman, he is a simple soul and always chuckling 
  
Bill Ray (45-55): smart and personable, he is Chelsea ’s fiancé 
  
Billy Ray (13-15): eager and bright, flippant to cover his awkwardness, has bad posture
