An Invitation to Take Part in a Community Easter Cantata/Musical 

You are invited to take part in a community-wide Easter Cantata/Musical that will be presented as a benefit for The Schenectady City Mission.  The title of the cantata is, REDEEMER, and it will be directed by local singer and director, Judi Merriam.  The cantata is open to any singers ages 10 through adult and will include a choir,
 soloists, speaking lines, drama, and liturgical dance.  Just to encourage you, it is not important that you are a fabulous singer, and there are no auditions to join the choir.  

Rehearsals will be on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at Trinity Baptist Church, 2635 Balltown Road in Schenectady, beginning
 on February 3, 2009.  The performance will be on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 7:00 pm and is set to be presented at Niskayuna High School.  The cost to participate will be the price of the cantata book which will be between $10 - $15.  Please consider joining this musical venture for a great cause.  

If you are interested in taking part in the cantata you will need to let either Judi Merriam or Charmaine Truttling, who is assisting Judi, know by Monday, January 26, so there will be enough books for the first rehearsal.
