[Capdist-auditions] Glen Falls Community Theater announces auditions for THE BAKERS WIFE Sept 10th

     The Glens Falls  Community Theatre will be holding a general meeting 
and auditions for their  upcoming production of “The Baker’s Wife” on 
September 9th and  10th, at the Charles R. Wood Theatre.  Both  evenings will 
feature a 7:00 P.M. start time.  “The Baker’s  Wife”, is a comedy musical, 
which was written by Stephen Schwartz, the award-  winning composer of “Wicked”
, “Pippin”, “Godspell” and many other shows. At the  general meeting on 
Wednesday, director Jim Chaffin and musical director,  Madeline Scotto will 
discuss the show and auditions, and production managers  will provide 
information regarding how all interested can join painting, set  building, 
hospitality, make-up, props, and ushering committees.  Those who are interested in 
performing in this production, as well as  those who wish to work back stage 
are encouraged to attend the September  9th meeting.
     On September  10th, those auditioning will be asked to perform a 
selection from the  show.  Singer/Actors of all ages are encouraged to try  out.  
In addition to human actors, the production team is also  searching for a 
mild mannered, friendly black cat.  Anyone who  thinks that their cat might 
fit the bill, please bring a photo of your pet with  you to the general
