    RPI Players Call for Musical Directors and Choreographers for their
Spring Musical!

    Troy, NY - November, 3 2010- The RPI Players are looking for a
musical director for their mainstage production 1776 to be performed
April 29, 30, May 1, 5, 6, and 7 in 2011. Performances will be held in
the RPI Playhouse on 15th Street in Troy, NY.

Broadway version

American history blazes to vivid life in this unconventional Broadway
hit. It's the summer of 1776 and the nation is ready to declare
independence...if only the founding fathers can agree! "1776" follows
John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Richard Henry Lee, and Thomas Jefferson as 
they attempt to convince the members of the second Continental Congress
to vote to free their fledgling nation from the shackles of the British
monarchy by signing the Declaration of Independence.


    Any persons interested in musically directing or choreographing this
show, or would like more information should contact the RPI Players

518-276-6503 no later than Saturday November 20. Please submit a theater
resume and three references (preferably ahead of time, by e-mail). The
RPI Players Executive Committee will contact you about an interview time, 
and any additional resources we may need.

    The RPI Players is a student run community theater on the campus of
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. While RPI students are the primary
participants in the organization, auditions and production roles are open 
to all community members.  We look forward to hearing from a variety of
talented musical directors and choreographers!
