ABB Event Productions and J.A.M Productions will be presenting V-Day
2011 Albany throughout February and March 2011 in Albany.  2011 will
mark the fourth year of the V-Day being presented by the groups.  This
year's productions will benefit The V-Day Spotlight Group: The Women
and Girls of Haiti, The Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood, and The
Women's Building.

Auditions will be held at Susie's 217 Cafe on Monday, December 6th at
7 PM.  Café 217 is located at 12 ½ Delaware Avenue (corner of Delaware
and Jefferson).

We will be presenting The Vagina Monologues and A Memory, A Monologue,
A Rant & A Prayer.   We ask that you review both shows and select a
portion to read at the audition. You are welcome to try out for either
or both shows.

Rehearsals for The Vagina Monologues will be at Café 217 on Mondays at
7 PM.  Rehearsal for A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant & A Prayer will be
at The Women's Building on Tuesdays at 7 PM.  Rehearsals will begin in
January.

Production dates for The Vagina Monologues are February 13, 14, & 15,
2011 at Café 217 (12 ½ Delaware Avenue, Albany).  This production
includes a three course meal prior to the performance for all patrons.
This production only contains roles for female actors or those who are
living as female.  Please note that any returning actress may audition
for the same monologue she has done in past productions; however that
does not necessarily mean you will get it.

Production dates for A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant, and A Prayer are
March 10, 11, & 12, 2011 at The Women’s Building (373 Central Avenue,
Albany).  This production contains roles for both male and female
actors.
