* Unarmed stage combat workshop (FEE Required)*
2 hrs of training in the basics of unarmed combat. Here you will learn
falls, rolls, slaps, punches, kicks and some grappling techniques. This
workshop is for directors and actors interested in learning safe techniques
on stage combat that can be used in theatrical productions. Student should
bring comfortable loose clothing since there will be a lot of movement. We
will end the class with a student showcase of a small fight scene that will
incorporate some of the techniques learned in this workshop. ($50 per
person, class limited 12 students depending on the number of students
interested another workshop will be schedule next month with a possibility
for ongoing classes).

Location: *3 McElwain Ave *
*Cohoes, NY.*
At the In Your Face Wrestling School (the place is insured for stage combat
and they have space for this)
Once you're on McElwain, it's the large brick building. Can't miss it! Come
into the front door on Grant Street, down the hall, to the 4th door on the
right.
About the Instructor:
PJ Gonzalez is a local actress and fight choreographer and a full time
Theatre Arts Student at Hudson Valley Community College. She has
choreographed numerous shows through the Capital Region including: *Macbeth*,
*As You like It*, *Twelfth Night*, *Hamlet*, *Romeo and Juliet*, and *I
Hate Hamlet* at Confetti Stage for which she received TANYS Roving
adjudicator award for her work. She has been training in stage combat since
2005 in New York City. She is ranked as an Actor/Combatant with the Society
of American Fight Directors (SAFD) and is also a member of the SAFD.
