Classics @ the Point Theatre Ensemble will be presenting Thomas, an original play based on Thomas Cole's life in the Village of Catskill, NY. Thomas Cole was the originator of the Hudson River School of Landscape Painting.
Seeking young actors with the capacity to handle heightened language and are comfortable with being able to portray young adults living in the 1800's.
Auditions will be held for the following roles:

Young Maria Bartow 16 to 20, sweet and gentle, very romantic young girl who falls deeply in love with Thomas
Young Sarah Cole, Thomas' sister, 16 to 20, speaks with a British accent, charming and is always challenging her brother
Young Asher Durand Early 30's, talented artist who is sensitive and a loyal very friend to Thomas
Young Frederick Church, Early 20's ambitious, wise and very talented
Also, seeking actors who are interested in being part of an ensemble and who are able to play a variety of roles.
Age ranges from 30's to 60's. Rehearsals will be on the weekends for the month of September.
Thomas will be presented on Friday and Saturday, November 5, 6, and Sunday, November 7. At Columbia-Greene Community College, Hudson, NY.
Auditions for Thomas are being held at Columbia Greene Community College, at the Arts Building, within the theatre, on Saturday, Sept. 11, from 10am to 12pm. Please bring your pix and Resume and a monologue of your choosing.
