Audition Notice


DragonFly Performing Arts, a non-profit community theatre in  
Cairo,NY( apx 40-45 south of Albany) is seek cast for its upcoming  
staging of It’s a Wonderful Life the Musical.  The show is based on  
the classic 1946 Frank Capra movie, and tells the  the saga of George  
Bailey, the Everyman from the small town of Bedford Falls, whose  
dreams of escape and adventure have been crushed by family obligation  
and civic duty, whose guardian angel has to descent on Christmas Eve  
to save him from despair and to remind him by showing him what the  
world would have been like had he never been born. This faithful  
adaptation has all your favorite characters: George and Mary Bailey,  
Clarence, Uncle Billy, Violet, and, of course, the Scrooge-like  
villain, Mr. Potter.

A wide variety of roles for men and woman in a range of ages,  
including several non-sing parts. Performances will take place Dec.  
3rd-5th & 10th-12th Interested parties should contact the director to
