37 Postcards:
Plot: Avery Sutton, a kind hearted and surprisingly humble young man,
returns home after years of traveling abroad. He has brought his fiancé,
Gillian, home to meet his family but his family has changed quite a bit
while he has been gone. The house is falling into a sinkhole so everything
is tilted at a distinct angle but no one living in this house seems to
notice. Other oddities come to life as Avery tries to adjust to who his
family has become over the years. This craziness which leads to many comic
moments for the audience seems overwhelming to Avery until he begins to
realize that his familys behavior is their way of coping with sadness and
loss. Can this family be whole again?

The Boys Next Door:
Plot: The play focuses on the lives of four mentally disabled men who live
in a group home in a city in New England. They are supervised by Jack, a
young social worker who is dedicated to these men but is also feeling an
increasing sense of burn out. Each of the men who live in this group home
brings different kinds of mental disability to life as they share their
idiosyncrasies along with their hearts. The play follows these men through
their daily lives of sometimes seemingly simple acts like shopping and
visiting the library to momentous and difficult moments that change these
men, and those around them, forever. Throughout it all, Boys Next Door
teaches us that these mentally challenged men and women are human beings who
want to love and be loved as they strive to find happiness and fulfillment
in their lives.
